Belvedere Fall Festival
Sunday, November 3rd, 2019, 1pm to 6pm at Village Green
The Community Life Committee would like to invite you all to a Fall Festival that will be held on the Village Green on Sunday, November 3rd. The celebration will be an afternoon long event (1pm - 6pm) where you can head over at the time that works best for you. We will have activities, beverages (including adult beverages), and food. In order to best gauge amounts for food and drink, we are asking that neighbors please RSVP for the number of people in your home that will attend.
- There will be three inflatables set up around 1pm and they will remain in place until after 6pm. One is just for the 4 and under tots, one is a maze for all ages, and the third is a sports arena bounce house.
- There will be potato sacks available for races, a tug-a-war rope, and wooden eggs and spoons for egg races.
- There will be beer and wine for adults, water, and most likely hot cider and hot chocolate (still looking at options).
- After pricing several food options, we are planning to order pizzas for delivery between 1 and 1:30. We will also have veggie trays, cookies, and possibly some other snack type options to keep around throughout the afternoon.
We will be asking for volunteers to help supervise the inflatables and activities. We will also be asking for any tables or coolers that could be loaned for the duration of the event.

Belvedere Greenway Dedication
Wednesday, November 20th, 2019, 2pm to 4pm at Village Green
Belvedere Greenway Dedication to Albemarle County; November, 20th from 2:00PM - 4:30PM on the Village Green.
Steve Krohn is encouraging all those that are available to attend this event. There will be adult refreshments and snacks, plenty of free swag from both Belvedere and ting, and very nice door prize drawings for attendees – a Nest camera doorbell, Belvedere logo fleece, several Greenberry’s gift cards, and hopefully a 1 gig router system donated by ting. Between ting, the Greenway, and SOCA’s groundbreaking, it’ll be a pretty incredible afternoon of progress.
Ting would like to encourage residents who are having any sort of lingering questions (speed, signal quality, equipment, TV options, etc.) to come by their table for assistance. This will also be a great opportunity for newer residents to learn more about the already existing trail network.
Thank you and please let me know if there are any questions before the event.
